Bryan, BB (before Boer Brothers) had gone to chef’s school and become a sous chef at the beginning of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro restaurant explosion. It was great because when we started the company he was able to start helping all his many friends in the restaurant industry with their businesses and homes, it gave us our first big push and he is grateful to those who took a chance on us. He loved it, driving around, solving people’s problems, being the hero and learning something new every day. He became our PhD of HVAC. The heating and cooling business has a lot in common with the restaurant business in its laser focus on keeping the customer happy and the planning and care that goes into that. Today Bryan manages our residential installation department and working with our homeowners and contractors on getting new and existing homes dialed in for comfort and efficiency. Office time doesn’t become him. Bryan still see himself, at the core as a problem solver and longs to ride to the rescue.
